Connecting Hog 4 to WYSIWYG. Started a new show today with completely new venue. All patched up Ok as far as I can see. Go into connection Manager, set up DP8000, assign dmx outputs but I cannot connect. Open a previous show in WYSIWYG, with the Hog still connected and running the new show / patch and connects OK without an issue, I have control of fixtures from the Hog albeit not the right fixtures but I can see changes. Have I missed something in the new show set up? Help......
Last time I used a hog connector with wyg there was some playing around with. I have to test a new hog wing this weekend so I'll see how it goes for me and post back. if no others have. Jason.
There are no issues with this connection. I just tested it on Friday (and it was tested before R40 was launched). Yes, you most likely missed something; I recommend going through the Hog Connectivity Guide and re-checking everything; if you follow those instructions exactly, it is impossible not to be able to connect.
