Is there any way to create a custom fixture symbol or submit a request for Cast to create a custom symbol? I am trying to use the CAD drawings released by our moving light manufacturer in my plot. Any help would be appreciated.

It is not possible for you to create your own fixture symbols, nor can you import symbols as such. Is the symbol associated with a fixture profile in the WYSIWYG Library somehow incorrect? Or are you, by chance, not looking for a symbol but for an actual fixture profile? (A fixture profile contains--along with with other information, a 3D model which appears in the Shaded View--the 2D symbol requrired to represent the fixture in WYSIWYG's Wireframe views.) You cannot create your own fixture profiles for any automated or LED fixtures, but you can do this for (traditional) conventional fixtures, by following the Create New Conventional wizard available in the Options menu on WYSIWYG's Welcome Screen (and only on the Welcome Screen--it is not available once you've opened a file).

For any and all library-related questions or requests, please contact our Libraries Development Department by clicking this option after you've logged into the Members Only Area of the CAST Software website (https://cast-soft.com/cast/member/index.php).
