    Hi everyone,

Is someone know how to move precisely fixture on pipe ? I would like to move a fixture or a fixture group on pipe like object with the command "CTRL + M" and then absolute values "x,y,z" or relative values "@x,y,z".

Thanks a lot for your help,

    Alexandre

The best way to put fixtures on a pipe in a precise and orderly way is to use pipe snap. You can set the snap distance in the pipe properties. I always choose draw pipe from centre as this influences the way snap behaves. Set the snap distance to half the distance you need between your fixtures if you want to put fixtures around the centre of the pipe.

Now that I think about it a bit longer. There is another way to move fixtures precisely after they are hung. If you nudge the fixture by holding down CTRL and using the arrow keys, you move the fixtures by the amount you have set in the hang structure properties. If you add shift to this keyboard combo you move the fixtures by this amount times two along the pipe.
