Scaling

    Hi

    The other day i could not figure out, how do i scale objects?

    Native primitive objects (e.g. a cylinder, sphere, riser, etc.) can be resized by going to the object's properties, or you can click on drag their grip handles in the CAD views.
    Library objects cannot be scaled or resized.

    neither do Sketchup Imports. Which is somewhat pity...

    Hi Mark,

    You can scale Sketchup items in Sketchup and save-as new item then re-import. It can be a bit of a fiddle to figure out what ratio you need to use to make it bigger or smaller but a bit of maths and you can get it right most of the time.

    It would be good to be able to resize wysiwyg objects though, I often have to use sketchup files instead which can be time consuming! Maybe they'll do it in the future...
