How are you?
Which sdi capture card is the best foe WYSIWYG?
We have not tested any such capture card, and as such we cannot endorse any. To find out which capture cards we officially support in WYSIWYG, please see this thread. To be honest, I am not even sure if WYSIWYG would be capable of playing back an SDI stream at this time, since this is an uncompressed stream which would more than likely require changes in the software... As such, even if we were to support such capture devices, it could not happen until Release 34 at the earliest, which is due at the end of this year. (This does not mean that Release 34 will support this, only that that is the earliest we could possibly offer support for it.)
My only suggestion is to find a way to convert your SDI source into a format that can be captured by one of the capture devices supported by WYSIWYG.
My apologies for the potentially-bad news here, Yahav,
Hi again, Yahav,
Thinking about this a bit more, I found the following HD-SDI to HDMI convertor: http://www.hdtvsupply.com/hd-sdi-to-hdmi-adapter.html?gclid=CjwKEAjwl7ieBRCK2rCtqcCS7jESJACZKQFKptsfBfWxtNlzmbs4y_y3b0Spg9JjEQ1IH8ldaonnFRoCqNjw_wcB. The price is reasonable, though I can't help but wonder why it costs SO much less than others... Definitely read reviews..
