Hello, Does anyone have a method for recording audio files directly into either NDI or Wyg live record? Current solution seems to be to line up video post record in video editing software and add audio track. However, for cue timing evaluation this is less than ideal. Thanks, Andrew
Timecode triggered record would be ideal for this. When a timecode hits a certain time the recording begins. Then it is then easy to align. Time code sources could be something wysiwyg already receives such as Artnet timecode. Also MTC would be great. This is currently not possible, but maybe something to consider for Cast. Another method could be to start the recording over an OSC command. This also needs to be implemented by Cast.
There is nothing in WYSIWYG that can help here at this time, I'm sorry. WYSIWYG does not handle timecode at this time, but it is on our list of things to add -- as is, @Floriaan, OSC. Actually, the latter should be coming, in some from, to R47.
Hello, I have since found I can us "V-mix" software to mix an audio source NDI with Wyg' over NDI. Works pretty well with no latency issues as audio and wyg are both ndi sources... and it's free to try.
Hello you can record the ndi from wyg in OBS, in my case the video played on the led screen was with sound , so both video and sound was recorded in obs
