If you use batch printing to print multiple layouts with a Text field that uses %Title% all those fields get printed on all layouts.
Hi again, Floriaan. I guess I was in a bit of a hurry when I replied earlier... this is not an actual problem. The %Title% variable is mean to be used for Reports' titles, not Layouts'. To get the the Layouts' titles, please use the %LayoutTitle% variable. (It was not possible to reuse %Title%, because that variable was "established" a long time ago, for Reports. No double-dipping! ) This is specified in the Smart Cells section of the wysiwyg Reference Guide: the use of the "% variables" in the Introduction to that section and this specific variable a couple of pages further on. That said, QA has confirmed that this was thoroughly checked before release, and they just checked once again, just in case, but could not reproduce the problem -- again, using %LayoutTitle%. Please try with this, and if it still doesn't work, send a couple of your files to support, as usual, so they can investigate further; please add the link for this thread to your email, for their reference -- and, just in case, let them know if the files happen to have been created in an earlier version of wysiwyg. Cheers, Dany
Hi, I completely forgot about the %LayoutTitle% variable (partly because when you insert text directly into a layout you don't get the smart cels dropdown menu). The variable %Title% does display the name of the Layout shortcut correctly though. That's why it is so unexpected to see the printing of individual layouts work perfect, but when you print the same layouts in batch, the texts of different layouts appear printed on top of each other on each layout.
