    Hi Gaurav,

A Scale function is not available in Vivien at this time. Dimensions may end up being incorrect once the model is imported for one of two reasons:

    1. The incorrect units were selected during import. As described in the importing guide, check the units by opening the file in AutoCAD and running the units command.

    2. If the correct units were selected after being checked in AutoCAD as per the previous point, the model was drawn at scale, and (therefore) not with real-world measurements. To determine this (after opening the .dwg or .dxf file in AutoCAD) use AutoCAD's di command (or insert an Aligned Dimension object) to measure the distance between two points in the model, then measure the distance between the same two points in Vivien by using the Tape Measure tool (or by inserting a Linear Dimension object); the two distances will (most likely) be identical. If they are both incorrect (based on what you know they should be), there is a good chance that something went wrong when you exported the model to .dwg or .dxf, or perhaps you didn't choose the appropriate export options (if there are any, I do not know). Note that this can happen from any application that exports to these formats, not just SketchUp.

Should you require further assistance with this matter, please email the original .SKP, the exported .DWG/.DXF and the resuling .VVN files to techsupport[at]cast[hyphen]soft[dot]com, so I can have a look at everything. Please include the Serial Code of the dongle you are using, along with the name, email address and company name of the person to whom this dongle is registered. (Note that in order to qualify for support with this matter, your Membership must be current and that the registration information for the dongle match what appears in our customer database.)

    Cheers,

    Dany
