Hi all, I was wondering if there is a way of setting document preferences (or application wide) for the settings of a curtain on a pipe? specifically, I dont like the drape blue and change it for drape black every time. and the of set I set to 0.01 every time... I would like not to have to do this every time.... hope someone has a trick. I am loving 64bit BTW. thanks programming team! ciao Sander
Hi Sander, While this is not possible at the moment, it is definitely a good idea, so we will explore it for a future version. Thanks for bringing it up!
In the mean time, can you please change the default texture for borders and legs as well as the Enable curtain function for surfaces to Drape Black? We work in theatre, we want things dark ;-)
Hi Floriaan, this happens to be your personal and professional preference, but it may not be someone else's (not everyone who uses wysiwyg works in a theatre) so this is not a change that we will make. However, you can do this with a wysiwyg Template (.wyT) file.
Why would anybody want to use blue borders and legs? These things are used in theatres! I dare you to make a poll out of this ;-) And please explain how I make that the default in a template.

Just started to draw another project. It's making me crazy again. Why not make them black by default for just the R45 version. See how many complaints you get ;-)
This was done for R45 after the Beta. (Sorry, it skipped my mind to come back here and mention this.) In a future version, it will become possible for the user to change the default settings for curtains (and many other things that cannot be "pre-defined" via templates atm). Cheers, Dany
