    Hello Roberto,

There is no need to "SHOUT". What you are experiencing is normal WYSIWYG operation, as described in the WYSIWYG Reference Guide....

    rg - can't export truss.png

    Thanks,

    Dany

    Hi Dany,

Is it a real "Cannot" or a disabled function? It would be great to make this possible! It make the workflow much better. Now we redraw our trussdesigns on a daily base to give the deco guys a drawing they can work with.

So if its possible (even with a highly classified secret .dll file or something like that ;) Pleas let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jesper

We will consider allowing this in a future version of WYSIWYG.

Truss is exported with cross members and all. Also in 3D. The only thing that is missing is thickness for the truss chords. This is the same with pipes. They also export into a simple line in dwg’s.

For a project, i need to convert my wyg file in .obj
For that i tried differents ways but each time, i lost trusses in the obj file..
Export in dwg and dxf from wyg
Import in autocad or 3ds max the file etc...
    Then Export to obj..
In the obj, i have all my draw with fixtures except trusses.. crazy thing..

Hmmm... that is definitely bizarre. I mean, it's not even WYSIWYG, but AutoCAD somehow (at least strictly technically speaking). Still, it may have something to do with how we export the truss objects. Have you tried to explode the truss objects before you exported from AutoCAD? I don't have access to AutoCAD and 3DS MAX right at this moment so I cannot check, but I will do so tomorrow and write here again. (If you have a chance to try it first though, please let me know if it made a difference.)

    Thanks,

    Dany

Curious thing is we only lose the trusses in the conversion, mannequins, surface, fixtures are ok.. :(

    Hi Xavier,

Soft. Dev. has looked into this, and said there is nothing they can do for the time being, I am really sorry.
