Would it be possible to add the wattage to the Fixture Library properties. (Invoked with CRT+Enter). This way you can check the wattage before inserting the fixture.
Why is the wattage wrong on so many fixtures in Wyg? Its making me look bad and you cant edit these things.
Man I'd LOVE to be able to edit them on spec and leave it as a user fixture or something. I know they want to keep everything consistent across the libraries, but you're absolutely right. ESPECIALLY with the high and low power modes some fixtures have. The JDC is 1200w on the regular jdc-1, and for some reason on the design mode, I'm getting it split into the rgb and strobe modules, one at 1188 and one at -12, which is generally strange, but then again it IS the design mode version, and they have warnings about the data of the fixture (wyg 2023). As for the pixelline i have no dang idea, the only thing that shows up as 1084 anywhere in their info is the width of the box it ships in, in mm maybe just a typo for the library department to fix? I DID find that if you go into the fixture properties and change the lamp from LED to either LEDlow or none, it changes to 300W, so if you're doing load balancing it's a hell of a lot closer to 420 than 1084, at least until the library guys can do their thing.
Thanks for your input. Sadly load balancing of 254 fixtures with a wattage variance of 120W is really bad. I guess I'll have to keep using my own spreadsheet which I know is right because I made it haha.
Yeah, for something that scale you'll probably have to do it manually for now. Hopefully the team comes up with something usable going into 2024
It should be as simple as writing an email to the library department. Usually, these things get fixed within 48 hours. If there is not a Canadian bank holiday, which is quite often ;-)
