    Hello,

I have many difficulties in having good textures on Vivien.
I tried with personnal textures or Vivien one's and the result is not really good. I tried tile or stretch sometimes but can't get nothing but a "old 90's 3D video game" result
Would it be possible to get a tutorial for that kind of thing?

By the way, one thing that could be great for next Vivien version would be to be able to have an overview of textures (and objects) instead of needing to scroll it one by one.

Thank you in advance for your answer.

    Nico

    Hello Nico,

Please email t e c h s u p p o r t @ c a s t - s o f t . c o m with this issue, and include the Serial Code of the dongle you are using, along with the name, email address and company name of the person to whom this dongle is registered--as this information would appear in CAST Software's database. Please also provide examples of exactly what is not working as you might expect, but please do remember that some restrictions exist when it comes to texturing objects in Vivien, such as:

    - a texture cannot "stretch" across multiple polygons, unless those polygons are part of a 3D Primitive Solid whose geometric structure has not been modified (i.e. it was not Broken apart); this does not apply to Consolidated Mesh objects at this time

    - transparent textures are not supported at this time

I look forward to helping you further with this query once I receive your email.

    Regards,
