How do I merge or insert a Column shortcut into an existing wysiwyg file?
I want to make a shortcut in the DATA view that has specific columns in a specific order, so if I do an export to excel, I get a predictable output.
Unfortunately the columns I need are not by default in the All Data (Sortable) shortcut.

Really sorry, but this is not possible -- and there is no workaround for it either (except to start from a Template file (.wyT) which contains the Column Shortcut you created, but that doesn't address your need to merge, of course). We had a plan to address a number of shortcomings related to .wyg file merging in R45, and this was one of them (provide an option to specify which Shortcuts to Merge). Unfortunately though, with a shrinking development timeline, I do not believe we will be able to get to these, even though the release date is getting pushed forward (I don't know to when -- it will depend largely on when we will be able to re-open the office); as such, these improvements will likely have be pushed to R46.

    Sorry again,

    Dany
