I need a way to import a wysiwyg file into Google Sketchup. (The 3d view) When i export it to .dwg/.dxf Sketchup cant open it..
I can't recall anyone else mentioning such trouble. What DWG version did you export to? Perhaps the version is higher than what SketchUp can read... try maybe saving back to AutoCAD 2010 or even 2000 format.
Truss from WYSIWYG does not with webbing--only the main cords are exported; this is by design. To see what/how WYSIWYG actually exports to .DWG format, I suggest opening the exported file in AutoCAD (or DWG TrueView if you don't own a license for AutoCAD) and comparing that with what you see in WYSIWYG... everything should be identical (except the truss, as I already mentioned). If what imports into SketchUp doesn't appear the same as in AutoCAD/DWG TrueView, then the problem lies with SketchUp's import, and not WYSIWYG's export.
