Hi everyone! I'm diving deep into Wysiwyg and have faced with the problem of importing 3D scans from Artec Studio into it. Most of the scans are made in .stl\.obj. file formats and I was using AccuTrans3D from the tutorial (http://forums.cast-soft.com/index.php?threads/geometry-optimization-and-file-efficiency.283/) to convert them to .dwg\.dfx files. But some of the scans were made in .ply file format and looks like this converter doesn't support this format at all. Is there any other application for my needs? Thanks for any help. Best regards
I suggest using the .OBJ file if it's available. If not, maybe this will work for you, though I've never heard of it: https://www.nchsoftware.com/3dconverter/index.html. (I only just found it through this Google search, so unfortunately I cannot tell you how well it will work -- or if at all.)
