Is there any current plans to implement Newtek NDI as a video source? If not, would it be possible to add it as a feature request? With access to the spout/syphon ecosystem through NDI it would greatly increase the ease of use when dealing with video mapping, combined with acces to a bunch of additional applications for generating and managing video content. In addition, as it stands, my (and probably others) capture card isn't really supported - but still works, albeit sub-optimally. Skipping the whole setup process of that pain in the buttocks would be lovely.
Hi Martinus, Thanks for bringing this up! Yes, Newtek's NDI protocol is already on our list of things to implement, but we do not know at this time if it will be possible to add it to the upcoming R40 (which is due in December). We are definitely eager to add it though, given all the benefits it will bring to WYSIWYG. Regards,
