Hi everyone, Users have been inquiring about our recommendations for using 4K resolutions, so I thought I may as well share these with everyone here... While WYSIWYG does support 4K resolution, Shaded View pre-visualization (in Design mode) or simulation/pre-cueing (in Live mode) at this resolution is not recommended (regardless of hardware) as performance issues will likely be encountered. If you are working with a 4K display, or any display capable of resolutions higher than a 1080p (i.e. 1920x1080 pixels), please set its resolution to 1080p or less when performing these tasks (again, in Shaded Views). 4K resolution may be used when working in CAD, DATA and PRES modes, and Shaded View images may of course be exported at 4K or even higher, up to 4096x4096 pixels. Should you require additional information about improving performance in Shaded View, please read the following tip: http://www.cast-soft.com/tipsandtrics/improving-performance-in-shaded-view-2/. Cheers, Dany
