    I am currently running
    CPU-Z TXT Report
    Socket 1 ID = 0
Number of cores 8 (max 8)
Number of threads 16 (max 16)
    Name AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
    Memory Type DDR4
    Memory Size 64 GBytes
    Channels Dual
    Memory Frequency 1197.1 MHz (1:12)
    Mainboard Model TUF B450M-PLUS GAMING
    Name NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070
    Memory size 8 GB
    Memory type GDDR6
Windows Version Microsoft Windows 10 (10.0) Professional 64-bit (Build 18362)
    DirectX Version 12.0

Vivien is only using one core and maxing it out. How do I get it to use all of them?

I'm only using the library models that came with Vivien.

When Vivien requires more cores, it will use them. There is nothing you can do to force it to use more cores. Only those functions in Vivien that require multi-threading are actually multi-threaded.

Just moving three cars stutters everything and rotating them slows everything to a crawl and still only uses one core. This is normal for me to wait for the three cars for 25 seconds to load?

That is entirely possible if those car models were imported and are very complex (i.e. made up of hundreds of thousands of polygons). However, since you are using Vivien's own libraries, what you are experiencing is definitely not right. Are you certain that Vivien is utilizing your NVIDIA video card? This is set via the Graphics Settings option in Windows 10, as follows:

    1. Click the Windows start menu.
    2. Click Settings.
    3. In the Search bar at the top, type graphics settings, press <enter> and then click Graphics Settings.
    4. In the next window, ensure that 'Classic app' is selected in the dropdown.
    5. Click the Browse button.
    6. Navigate to the folder where Vivien is installed, typically C:\Program Files\CAST Software\Vivien 2020\Bin64.
    7. Select the Launcher(.exe) file and click Add.
    8. Click 'Vivien Launcher' and then click Options.
    9. Click the 'High performance' option and then click Save.
    10. Repeat steps 5 through 9, but in step 7 select Vivien(.exe) and in step 8 click 'Vivien Application'.

    If there is no change after this, please email our Technical Support department for assistance, at t e c h s u p p o r t @ c a s t - s o f t . c o m.
