    Hello Xavier,

In case your question is in follow-up to this discussion on the wysiwyg Pre-Viz Forum on Facebook, I stand by what I wrote there: no, this is not a feature we are considering for the time being because we feel that our development should concentrate in other areas of the software -- since wysiwyg already fully-supports VR via the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift/S systems and this provides a fully-immersive dynamic VR experience, with the ability to move around the scene and, of course, see the lighting in real-time; it also supports 360° static image exports, either Spherical or Cylindrical, which can be viewed via web browser plugins, standalone apps, or Google Cardboard and similar mobile phone interfaces.

In case your question had nothing to do with the Facebook post, I'm sorry, but I do not understand what you are after... can you explain in a bit more detail? Does another software do this? If so, can you send an example, please?

    Thanks,

    Dany

    Hi Dany,

    Thanks for your answer.

I hadn't seen the facebook discussion before, but i agree with Alex Lx wilson.

I wish i could make a video where the customers decides to wach where he wants, and i decide where to go.

    Example :
We draw a camera path (sperical) just to have a slow mouvement and a direction, bur the record is sperical like the 360 export picture to picture.
Then we can send the 360 presentation to our clients and they can look around during the mouvement..

It could be a huge step in wysiwyg's workflow and it will bring a real added value for your customers and ours too.

    ...

Another possible option is to develop a plugin for another software like

    https://enscape3d.com/
    https://irisvr.com/
    ....

    Or
You decide the camera path, and we record each plan separatly like the cubemap 2d video

    https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/VideoPanoramic.html
    ...

I just give you my ideas, the 360 static image export is very cool, but the next step is to add the movement...

    Thanks,

    Xavier

In other 3d visualisation packages it is possible to send customers to a web page and let them 'walk' through the rendered images. Vectorworks offers such an export. Also a cloud based version could work.

Also I was thinking that maybe in the future, Weg could be offered through Steam. Meaning you could give a client full acces from the comfort of their own office.

Thank you both. This is a much better explanation than was offered by Alex on FB. I now understand much better, and promise to look into this. It is still not something we can add to R45 but it is now on the list of things to research -- and I believe we can do this this year. Depending on what the research reveals, there is a small chance the feature can make it into R46, but more likely it will have to wait until next year.

    Thanks,

    Dany

It is something I am waiting for as I am preparing a very special project where this could be incredibly useful.
