Hi, I have 3Dconnexion Space Mouse Pro Wireless and it's not working with Wysiwyg. I asked about that from the 3Dconnexion support and they gave me an answer: "CAST is using a RAW input protocol for Wysiwyg and this doesn't support our wireless devices by default. In July we told them how to enable all devices, but we don't have an update" Can you tell if this is going to be fixed?
Hi Sami, Unfortunately the 3Dconnexion Space Mouse will not work with WYSIWYG for the reason explained by 3Dconnexion Support. I have communicated with them and discussed updating our driver support so that we connect to their devices via their driver. (The original implementation with the wired 3Dconnexion mouse was created using the raw data, and this solution which was fine previously for their wired devices, is not going to work anymore). We plan to update our connection using the driver soon. It will not be coming in Release 34 which is not too far away, but I anticipate it can be done by Release 35. I hope this answers your questions.
Hi Sami, Hope you are well. I have good news for you regarding the 3DConnexion Space Mouse... It will work in the R34 Update, which we just released this week. We updated our connection to the 3D Mouse devices, by using the 3DxWare driver to connect to them now (previously we were using an older SDK). Please consult my most recent post on this Forum, http://forums.cast-soft.com/index.p...th-r34-update-issue-with-3dxware-v10-2-2.432/ which explains which Driver version you should use, ie. Version 10.2.1, or if you wish to use 10.2.2 it will not work out of the box due to changes made in the profiles of the driver by 3DConnexion. I've provided a 5 step workaround to get Version 10.2.2 to work, if you prefer using it instead. We will work with 3DConnexion to correct the default profiles going forward. Cheers, Dino
