I have one big rounded surface with 56m width x 6m height and I'm trying to do an image for that surface on photoshop and that resolution in pixels is 158740px x 17008px , but WYSIWYG max resolution for imported images is 2048px x 2048px. What is the correct way to fit an image on that surface without look stretched? I can just think in scale that image and stretch on WYSIWYG. What do you think guys? I will be happy with you to give me suggestions about it.
    Thanks in advance.

Scale and Stretch is what I've done previously.
Scale the image down so the longest edge is 2048px or less. You'll end up with something like 2048px x 219px. Keep the proportion when you scale, and as long as it matches your surface proportions, it should stretch evenly.

What has been mentioned before is: you get away with these smaller image sizes as the surface is framed in your camera view, and you're likely exporting an image less than 4k from Design View. This might be an issue in the future with Higher Resolutions, VR & Spherical renders.
